SARAH ELIZABETH SAVAGE KING

MRS. SARAH KING DIES IN NANSEMOND COUNTY

   Mrs. Sarah E. King, aged 75 years, wife of the late A.T. King, of Nansemond 
county, died at her home near Whaleyville, Va., yesterday morning at 7:25 
o'clock after a brief illness.

   She is survived by seven children, three daughters, Mrs. W.W. Speight of 
Victoria, Va., Mrs. F.G. Beagle, of Philadelphia, Miss Ruth King of 
Whaleyville, Charlie King of Philadelphia, Woody King of Portsmouth, and ten 
grandchildren.  Three sisters, Mrs. Lon Parker, of Portsmouth, Mrs. Addie 
Parker of Gates, N.C., Mrs. Gertie Harrell of Portsmouth.

   The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the 
residence near Whaleyville, conducted by the Rev. J. R. Taylor.  Interment 
will be made in the family cemetery.
