Old Confederate Passes To His Reward.

Was A Member Of The 16th Virginia Infantry During Civil War - 
   Died At An Old Age - Electoral Board Appoints Judges.

  Suffolk, Va., May 12.- [...] 

     DIED AT AN OLD AGE. 

  James R. King died yesterday at Somerton, aged about 74 years.  The funeral 
took place this afternoon and was attended by several Suffolk persons.  The 
deceased was the father of Mrs. George Smith and Emmet King.
