  Mrs. King, Mrs. Chalmers, and Miss Conway - 
  Farley-Wilson Marriage - Paid High for Fowls.

      (Special to Virginian-Pilot.) 
  Suffolk, Va., Jan. 22.- The late prevalent weather conditions have brought 
about lung disease which is about epidemic.  The victims are passing away 
with a rapidity that is well nigh appalling.  There are five fatalities to 
tell about to-day - all women - and many others are ill.

             MRS. KING 

   Mrs. Mary, wife of Jesse King, who lived near Suffolk, died this morning 
45 years old.  She had pneumonia.  There are left a husband and four children. 
The funeral will be conducted from Providence Church at 2 p.m. to-morrow.  It 
will be a double funeral, the companion subject being Miss Archer.

  SUFFOLK, VA., Jan. 22.-Special- [...] 

  Mrs. Jesse King, formerly Miss Mary Harris, died this morning in Nansemond 
county, aged about forty-five years.  She had pneumonia.  The deceased leaves 
a husband and four children.  There will be a double funeral to-morrow at 
Providence M.E. church, the companion subject being Miss Archer.
