Knight Funeral Tomorrow Funeral services for Vernon Erstene Knight will be conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Melvin Dollar. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Knight, 54, died Sunday at 4:15 a. m. of a heart attack at his home, 193 South Main St. A salesman for the Maryland Biscuit Co., of Norfolk, he had lived in Suffolk since 1958. He lived here before in 1926 and later moved to Richmond where he was employed with Miller and Rhodes for 20 years. In 1948 he moved to South Norfolk where he was in mercantile business until he went with the sales staff of the Maryland Biscuit Company in 1957. He was the son of Mrs. Lala Briscoe Knight and the late Nichols [sic*] V. Knight. He was a member of the Rosemont Christian Church of South Norfolk. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kesler Blanchard Knight, two brothers, Stanley M. Knight and James N. Knight, both of Suffolk. His first wife Eular Marie (VAUGHAN) KNIGHT (1904 - 1993) is buried adjacent to her parents in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk - Block I, Lot 76.
