LASSITER Mrs. Evelyn Missouri Lassiter, 34, of 225 Western Avenue, died at 7 p.m. Friday at Obici Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Debbie Stallings Parks, of Chowan County, N.C. She was a member of the Oxford Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Isaac David Lassiter; three daughters, Miss Betty Lou, Mary and Judith A. Lassiter, all of the home; two sons, David Eugene and Leary Wayne Lassiter, also of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Byrum, of Tyner, N.C., Mrs. Gurney Harrell, Mrs. Claude Rodgerson and Mrs. Bill Kinnaman, all of Edenton, N.C.; three brothers, Preston Parks, of Tyner, Herman Parks of Newport News, Jarvis Parks, of Edenton, and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the I.O. Hill Funeral home where funeral services will be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. A. Woodrow Laine, pastor of Oxford Methodist Church, and the Rev. R.E. Brittle, Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Evelyn Missouri (PARKS; Mrs. Isaac D.)
