JULIUS McGRUDER LASSITER

   Suffolk, July 21 - Julius McGruder Lassiter, 85, well-known Suffolk man, 
died today at 12:30 p.m. at his home on Linden Avenue, after a short illness.

   A son of the late Dempsey and Elizabeth Hosier Lassiter, he was a member of 
St. Paul’s Episcopal church and the Junior Order, United American Mechanics.

   Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Hattie B. Lassiter; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer 
J. Yost, of Roanoke; a son, J. Ralph Lassiter, of Sante Fe, N.M., and four 
grandchildren.

   The body is at the R.W. Baker Funeral Home.
