VIRGINIA H. LASSITER 

  Suffolk, Va., Dec. 27 - The funeral of the late Mrs. Virginia Lassiter, wife 
of C.W. Lassiter, took place this afternoon.  The services were conducted by 
Dr. H.E. Johnson, of the Methodist church, and Rev. W.W. Staley, of the 
Christian church.

  There was present a good sized company of persons and the floral offerings 
were numerous and pretty.

  The interment was in Cedar Hill, the following be the pallbearers: J. Walter 
Hosier, Burwell Riddick, Sr., W.W. Ballard, W.L. Rodgers, Virginius S. Kilby 
and Adolphus Eley.

Isle of Wight Co. native, d. 25 Dec 1906, age 59, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block E, Lot 24*), Suffolk, 27 Dec 1906, 
"The Virginian-Pilot" (Norfolk, VA), Dec. 28, 1906, p. 7 

*Her mother, Ann/Nancy (RODGERS GAY) JOHNSON is buried in the same lot.
