BENJAMIN F. LATIMER

   Benjamin F. Latimer, 80, prominently connected in Nansemond and Isle of Wight 
counties, died Wednesday morning, January 14th at 3 o’clock at his home at 
Magnolia.

   Mr. Latimer was a native of Isle of Wight County and had lived for a number 
of years in Nansemond.

   He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Inez O’Berry, of Smithfield; a daughter-in-
law, Mrs. Arthur Latimer, of Nansemond county; a grandson, Arthur Lee Latimer, 
Jr. of Carrollton and a number of nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in Smithfield 
Baptist Church by the Rev. L.F. Paulette, assisted by the Rev. Dr. H.J. Goodwin 
of the First Baptist Church of Suffolk. Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery.
