DAVID CAPRON LYON

   Suffolk - David Capron Lyon, 17 year-old Suffolk High School senior, died 
Thursday at 1:55 a.m. at Obici Memorial Hospital after several months of 
illness.

   He was a son of Mrs. Marion Bradshaw Brinkley and the late Wallace P. Lyon. 
Other survivors include a sister, Miss Marion Virginia Brinkley of Suffolk; 
his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David C. Lyon of Suffolk; his maternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Bradshaw; an aunt, Mrs. John E. Austin of 
Suffolk, and four uncles, Norman Bradshaw and Barnes and William Lyon of 
Suffolk and Floyd Bradshaw Jr., of Portsmouth.

   Funeral services will be conducted today at 4 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal 
Church, of which he was a member, by the Rev. H. Walter Whichard, Jr., rector. 
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.  The funeral procession will leave the 
Baker Funeral Home at 3:45 p.m. for the church.

   Friends and relatives have been asked not to send flowers.  Donations may 
be made instead to the American Cancer Society.
