  Mrs. Mary E. Lawrence, widow of the late Joseph J. Lawrence, died at her 
home near South Quay May 1, 1907, in her 81st year [sic*].  She was survived 
by four children, H.J. Lawrence, Mrs. Pattie Jones, Mrs. W.H. Jones and Mrs. 
J.T. Rawls; by one brother, John Holland of Portsmouth, and one sister, Mrs. 
Martha Rawls of Franklin.
