MEISSEL A funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Shoop Godwin Meissel, who died Friday, was conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Suffolk Christian Church by Dr. Robert B. Marr. Entombment was in Meadowbrook Gardens mausoleum. Pallbearers were John T. Phillips Jr., W.C. Moore III, Leopold Kapusta, Holmes Butler Jr., Angus I. Hines Jr., E.H. Brooks, Arthur D. Addison and Judge James C. Godwin. R.W. Baker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Ethel Irene (SHOOP GODWIN; Mrs. William W.) D.Cert. 71-012496 Her second husband (1892 - 1965) is buried with his first wife in Bellefontaine Cemetery, St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO. Her parents, Curtis Albert & Bertha Ida (ZIMMERMAN) SHOOP, are buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk - Block A, Lot 23.
