The wife of Sherman McClenny and the daughter of Robert Vernon and Mrs. Annie Hayes Parker of North Carolina, she was a native of North Carolina and lived in Holland 23 years. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle of U.S. 58. Surviving beside her husband and parents are two sons, Ronald Eugene McClenny and Roger Duke Vann of Holland; a daughter, Joyce Elaine Vann of Holland; and two sisters, Mrs. L.E. Deir of Holland and Mrs. Shirley Dunning of Suffolk. A funeral service will be conducted in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. James Crocker of the Baptist Tabernacle, with burial in Holland Cemetery.
