Carolina Edward Dixon McClenny, 82, of Marion, S.C., a native of Nansemond County, died yesterday in Marion. Funeral services were held there today. He was the brother of the late Wilbur E. McClenny [sic; MacClenny*] and the late Jesse D. McClenny of Suffolk and the late Sidney L. McClenny of Myrtle. Besides his widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Modlin Blackburn of Marion, and two grandchildren. ****************************************************************************** E. D. McClenny MARION - Edward Dixon McClenny, 83, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R.G. Blackburn, by the Rev. J.C. Lupo and Rev. Leon Thompson. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Adele Miles McClenny; one daughter, Mrs. Mrs. Blackburn, and two grandchildren. Mr. McClenny was born in Nansemond County, Va.
