Mrs. Gracie McClenny 

  SUFFOLK - Mrs. Gracie Lee Gay McClenny 81, the widow of Robert John 
McClenny, died Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in Hillcrest Nursing Home. 
  A native of Isle of Wight County she was a daughter of George McKendrick 
and Mrs. Mary Williams Gay. 
  She was a member of Oxford Methodist Church. 
  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gracie M. Lee of Surry and Mrs. E. C. 
Johnson Jr. of Kenbridge; two sons, R. Wilmer McClenny of Suffolk and W. M. 
McClenny of Amhurst; two sisters, Mrs. E. S. Ryan of Hurt, Va. and Mrs. A. W. 
Wood of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 
  A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in R. W. Baker & 
Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Lee H. Beville of Oxford Methodist Church. 
Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.  The family will be at the home of R. 
Wilmer McClenny, 720 Sleepy Hole Road, Nansemond County.
