Smith, pastor of Main Street Methodist Church. Burial will be in Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. McClenny, 80, died Sunday at 8:45 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gordon B. Pace, in Richmond after a long illness. Other than her daughter she is survived by one son, George Gay McClenny, Lynchburg; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. A.H. Wood, Lovingston, Mrs. E.S. Ryan, Roanoke, and Mrs. R.J. McClenny, Suffolk; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Huntington Court Methodist Church in Roanoke. She had lived in Richmond for eight years. ****************************************************************************** Rites Held Tuesday For Mrs. McClenny Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Gay McClenny, who died Sunday in Richmond, were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Baker Funeral Home by Dr. Hampden H. Smith, pastor of Main Street Church. Burial was in Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The casket was covered with a pall of white carnatoins, white gladioli, white asters and red roses. Pallbearers were Wilmer McClenny, Madison McClenny, Thomas Ashburn, Curry B. Richards, J.M. Cross, John Henry Powell, James E. Parker and Edward Johnson.
