Megginson Sr. Lonnie Thomas Megginson Sr., 66, of 407 Kilby Avenue died at 1:40 a.m. today in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. A native of Holland, he was the husband of Mrs. Mary Evelyn Thomas Megginson and the son of the late John H. and Nancy [sic*] Ellis Megginson. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Francis Todd of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Lonnie T. Megginson Jr. of Nansemond and Johnnie Steven Megginson of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. Neil Hathaway of Jackson, Mich., and Mrs. Annabell Calcateiry of Norfolk; one brother, Archie B. Megginson, also of Norfolk, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home by Rev. Loyd Smith and the Rev. James R. Hughes. Burial will be in the Holly Lawn Cemetery.
