A native of Crittenden [sic*], he was a son of the late L.D. and Mrs. Martha Johnson Moger. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and a retired shipwright. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Osbourne of Greensboro, N.C.; a son, Marion Vincent Moger of Smithfield; four sisters, Mrs. George A. Corson and Mrs. C. Rene Ellis of Eclipse, Mrs. Robert H. Stocksdale of Crittenden, and Mrs. John W. Hillyer of Newport News; two brothers, E. Austin Moger of Hampton and Allen W. Moger of Lexington; and a grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the graveside in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Crittenden, by the Rev. J.W. Madren. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge of arrangements. The family will be at the home of Marion V. Moger, Smithfield.
