PHILIP BELL MOSER, JR.

   Philip B. "Phil" Moser, 68, of 115 ½ Linden Avenue, a retired engineer, 
died July 30, 1988 in a Norfolk hospital.

   A native of Norfolk, he retired from the Virginia Department of Highways 
and Transportation in 1982 after 35 years.  He was the son of the late Philip 
B. Moser Sr. and Mrs. Claudia Butler Moser.

   Survivors include his wife, Cecile H. Moser; a daughter, Patricia M. Brett 
of Suffolk; a son, Philip B. Moser III of Suffolk; a sister, Claudia M. Howell 
of Suffolk; and two grandchildren.

   The graveside service was held Monday at 11 a.m. Monday in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery by the Rev. David B. Lewis. .....
