IDA GRACE MOODY DEAD Suffolk, Va., July 6. - Mrs. Ida Grace Moody, wife of Captain Thomas Moody, died at 9 o'clock this morning in Crittenden, Va., aged 44 years. The funeral service will be conducted from the Methodist church at Crittenden at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon by Rev. G.H. McFaden. The deceased was a daughter of John T. Gray. Ida C. Her parents, John Thompson & Ann Elizabeth (ANDREWS) GRAY, are also buried there. Her husband was a Confederate veteran, having served as a private in Co. F, 9th VA Infantry; was severely wounded in the arm at Seven Pines. They m. 24 Apr 1897 in Nansemond Co.; the M.Reg. definitely gives Ida C. He is buried with his first two wives in Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Chuckatuck.
