He was a native of Plymouth, Pa., and the husband of the late Anna Elizabeth Toth Mehalko and the son of the late George and Aliona Mehalko, born in Hungary. He retired after more than 40 years at Planters. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Curtis Norman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Miss Rita Mehalko of Suffolk, and Mrs. Bill Runyon of Chesapeake; three sons, Lieut. Col. George T. Mehalko of Falls Church, Rudolph and Andrew Mehalko of Suffolk, and 27 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Peter A. Van Ganzewintel conducting. A Rosary will be held Monday night at 8 o'clock at I.O. Hill's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Holly Lawn Cemetery.
