JULIA MILTEER 

Child Burned to Death. 

  NORFOLK, VA., April 20. - Special. - Julia Milteer, three-year-old daughter 
of Mr. Abel [sic; Abe] Milteer, a prominent trucker living near Churchland, 
in this county, was burned to death this morning.  She was playing too close 
to an open fire.  Her clothing caught, and she was fatally burned before 
assistance could reach her. 


Julia MILTEER, daughter of "Abe" Abram & Emna (RIDDICK) MILTEER, 
b. 16 Mar 1895, d. 20 Apr 1897, at home, near Churchland, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block P, Lot 13*), Suffolk, 
"The Times" (Richmond, VA), Vol. 12, No. 72, Wed., Apr. 21, 1897, p. 7,
