JESSE FRANK MINTON, SR.

   Smithfield, July 14 - Jesse Frank Minton, Sr., 65, died Wednesday in 
a Suffolk hospital.  Surviving him are one son, Jesse F. Minton, Jr. of 
Richmond; one daughter Mrs. Thornburn V. Smith, of Holland; one brother, 
Mills E. Minton, and one sister, Miss Mary Diana Minton, both of Richmond, 
and one grandchild.  Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the 
grave in Ivy Hill Cemetery.
