Murfee will arrive in Suffolk from Roanoke Saturday morning over the N. & W. R.R. at 6:45 and will be taken to the I.O. Hill and Company Funeral Home. The procession will leave from there at 2:30 p.m. for Liberty Spring where funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. by Dr. I.W. Johnson, pastor. Interment will be in Liberty Spring. Mr. Murfee is the father of Mrs. S.H. Rawles, of Nansemond county. Active pallbearers will be E.B. Rawles, E.F. O’Berry, M.W. Byrd, H.E. Savage, Brodie Pierce, Chammer Harrell, W.A. Ellis, and I.T. Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the A.H. Savage Bible Class and friends of the family.
