Jordan March, Sr., aged 64 years, a prominent citizen of Nansemond county, died at his home Sunday morning at 8:40 o'clock near Holy Neck Christian Church, after an illness of several months. Besides his widow, Mrs. Bettie March, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Mary E. March, of Nansemond county, and four sons, L.C. March, of Norfolk, C.V. March, of Richmond, J.E. March, of Holland, and M.J. March, of Nansemond county; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Edney, of Norfolk, Mrs. Hillary Fanney, of Gates county, N.C., Mrs. Charlie Taylor, of Whaleyville; one half-sister, Miss Hunter March, of Whaleyville; three half-brothers, Harvey March, of Elwood, Va., Ben March, of Gates, N.C., Daughtrey March, of Florida; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
