Morris, of Washington, D.C., died Wednesday morning at 6:35 o’clock at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, after an illness of several weeks. Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Barnes, of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Clara Twiford, of Washington, and a half- brother, Curtis Barnes, of Norfolk. The body was brought today to the home of her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. S.E. Roberts, of Windsor, Va. Funeral services will be held at Western Branch Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb, on Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Morris, as Miss Ruth Barnes, made her home for a number of years with Mr. and Mrs. Roberts and had a wide circle of friends in this community. Ruth (BARNES; Mrs Joseph A.)
