Edwin C. Thornton Jr. Burial was in South Quay Baptist Church Cemetery with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge. Pallbearers were Herman Butler, John Scott, Royal Holloway, Howard Beale, C.G. Darden, Joe Darden, Jack Robinson, Franklin Pagget and James Darden. Reuben Edward, 14 and John Ira, 13, died early Sunday in Norfolk when flames made a pyre of the makeshift log cabin in which they were spending the night. Sons of Reuben and Gearleen March of Route 1, Holland, Reuben was in the 9th grade at Forest Glen High School and John attended Southwestern Elementary School. Besides their parents, they are survived by their maternal grandparents, James Garfield of Bluefield and Mrs. Rosa Mae Johnson of Boissevain, a great- grandmother, Mrs. M.A. Lawson of Boissevain; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Johnson of Bluefield, W.Va. and a sister Miss Lisa Annette March of Holland.
