EDWARD LEE MARSHALL

   Suffolk, Va., Dec. 8 - Funeral services of Edward Lee Marshall, who died 
suddenly at his home in Hall Place yesterday morning were held this 
afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence and were conducted by Rev. W.W. 
Staley, assisted by Rev. I.W. Johnson, and Rev. H.H. Butler. 

   The remains were carried to Antioch Christian Church in Isle of Wight 
County, of which deceased was a member, and interment was made in the family 
burial ground.  There were a number of beautiful floral tributes and the 
services were largely attended. 

   Following were the active pallbearers: Thomas Old, J.D. McClenny, J. Webb 
Pinner, L.P. Jordan, F.A. Holladay, W.T. Barrett.  Friends of the deceased 
and his business associates acted as honorary pallbearers.
