Morgan Funeral Tomorrow Funeral services for Thomas William Morgan Sr. will be conducted Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Hampden H. Smith, Jr., pastor of Main Street Methodist Church, and the Rev. Mahlon H. Elliott, pastor of Oxford Methodist Church. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Morgan, 72, of Route 2, Suffolk, died Monday at 7 p.m., in Obici Memorial Hospital after an illness of 16 days. A native of Nansemond County and a member of Holy Neck Christian church, he attended Elon College. He was a son of Benjamin F. [sic; John Benjamin*] and Dixie Griffith Morgan. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hope Dunn Morgan; a daughter, Mrs. W.H. Virnelson of Nansemond County; two sons, Thomas William Morgan Jr. and Stanley D. Morgan of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Fred O. Forbes of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother, Floyd Morgan of Stony Creek; and seven grandchildren.
