HOME Succumbs This Morning After Illness Of One Week Mrs. Stephen B. Martin, aged 37, died this morning at 7:55 o'clock at her residence, 424 N. Main street, after an illness of one week. Mrs. Martin is survived by three children, two daughters, Misses Mary Louise and Anita Martin, of Suffolk, and Terry Martin, of Suffolk; her father, William [sic; Samuel] Morgan, of Morganton, N.C., one sister, Mrs. Buelah [sic; Beulah] Queen, of Morganton, N.C., two brothers, Bill Morgan, of Detroit, Mich., and Jeter Morgan, of Morganton, N.C., and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mollie Martin of Atlanta, Ga. The funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, at the I.O. Hill funeral home on West Washington street, conducted by Dr. George Wesley Jones, pastor of the Main Street Methodist church. Interment in Cedar Hill cemetery. ****************************************************************************** ETHEL LEE MORGAN MARTIN Suffolk, March 8 - Mrs. Ethel Lee Morgan Martin, 37, widow of Stephen B. Martin, died this morning at her home in North Main Street, following an attack of influenza. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral Home of I.O. Hill and Company Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Dr. George Wesley Jones, pastor of Main Street Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. H.N. Tucker, rector of St. Paul's P.E. Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Martin is survived by three children, Mary Louse, Anita and Terry Martin; her father, William [sic; Samuel*] Morgan[; two brothers, Bill Morgan], of Detroit, Mich., and Jeter Morgan of Old Fort, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Beulah Owens of Morganton, and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mollie Martin, of Atlanta, Ga. She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and had a wide circle of friends in this city.
