Many Matters of Interest Picked Up in and Around Town. Special to The Landmark. Suffolk, Va., January 11. - This morning at 7 o'clock, Mrs. Fannie E. Martin died at her home on Broad street aged 64 years. Deceased was the wife of Mr. John G. Martin, who died about six weeks ago, and she leaves to mourn their loss three children, Mr. Gilbert A. Martin and Misses Viola V. and Carrie O. Martin, two step-daughters, besides grand-children and other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place on Sunday next at 2 o'clock p.m. at Oakland Christian Church in the county. Friends and acquaintenances invited to attend. The 1900 Census - Holy Neck Dist., Nansemond Co. - gives b. May 1837; m. 28 years, 3 of 5 children surviving.
