MARTIN Obsequies for Leading Citizen Who Passed Away Suddenly Yesterday Afternoon From Family Residence Tomorrow. Funeral services for Stephen B. Martin, 48, who died suddenly at his home yesterday afternoon as the result of a heart attack about 5 o'clock, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence, with Rev. H.E. Cromer officiating. Mr. Martin had long been a prominent citizen here and was superintendent of the Piedmont Guano Company, and also active in fraternal, business and civic enterprises. Although he was a native of Atlanta, he had been a resident of Suffolk for the past twenty years, coming to this city to accept the position held at the time of his death. Besides his wife, Mrs. Ethel Martin, he is survived by three children, two daughters, Misses Mary Louise and Anita Martin, and one son, Zack T. Martin, of this city, and his mother, Mrs. Mollie Martin, of Marietta, Ga. Mr. Martin was active in Masonic circles, being a member of Highland Lodge No. 184 of Highlandtown, Md., and a member of the Mount Nebo Royal Arch Chapter No. 20 of this city, and also of the Auld Consistory, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites body, Norfolk, and the Khedive Temple, Mystic Shrine, Norfolk.
