New, died this morning at 2:30 o'clock at her home on the Somerton Road, near Suffolk, after an illness of four weeks, aged 54 years. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Futch, of the county and two grandchildren, Gladys and Realious Futch, of the county. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence on the Somerton Road, conducted by the Rev. H.J. Goodwin, D.D. Burial will be made in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** FUNERALS Mrs. Annie H. New Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Hill New were held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence on the Somerton road, conducted by the Rev. H.J. Goodwin and the Rev. R.E. Brittle. A quartette composed of Mrs. R.H. Jacobs and Mrs. C.R. Wallace, and W.W. Ballard and J.R. Carr, accompanied by Alton Howell, rendered the hymns, "The Mistakes of My Life," and "In Our Heavenly Home." There were many handsome floral tributes, and a very large attendance. Active pallbearers were: Guy Reynolds, J.W. Purnell, C.T. Baker, Joel Harrell, E.B. Rawles, J.W. Ward, H.H. Powell, Elmer Hudson. Honorary: Charlie Reynolds, Charlie Mizelle, E.H. Thompson, Otis O'Berry, O.S. Smith, Sr., Henry New, W.E. New, B.T. Benton, J.S. Horton, W.W. Ballard, L.J. Evans, Lyman Reynolds, Elliott Parker, Frank Scarborough. Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery. Annie Mary (HILL; Mrs. George R.)
