VIRGINIA BEACH - A funeral service for retired Navy CPO Timmie Paul Nassif Sr., 50, who died Wednesday will be conducted at St. Matthew's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial, with military honors, will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. The Office of the Dead will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at Holloman-Brown Funeral Home. He was the husband of Mrs. Vivian Baker Nassif. He retired in 1960 after 20 years of service which included World War II and the Korean War. He was employed at W.T. Grant Co. His parents were immigrants from Syria or Lebanon. His mother Rosa B. (RASTOM; Mrs. Baraket "Benjamin") NASSIF (1894 - 1950) is buried in Willow Dale Cemetery, Goldsborough, Wayne Co., NC.
