MRS. W. H. NICHOLS DIES HERE TODAY 

Two Weeks' Illness Fatal To Suffolk Resident; Burial Tomorrow 

  Mrs. Berta W. Nichols, age 58, died at her home, 133 South Saratoga street 
at 5:15 a.m. today, after an illness of two weeks. 

  Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband, W.H. Nichols, of Suffolk; a son, 
George C. Nichols, of Suffolk; two sisters, Misses Eva and Sue Wilkins, both 
of Portsmouth; a brother, Joe H. Wilkins of Suffolk; and several nieces and 
nephews. 

  The body was taken to the I.O. Hill & Company funeral home, 447 West 
Washington street, where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 
4:30 o'clock by the Rev. Dr. J.G. Truitt and the Rev. R.E. Brittle. 

  Interment will be in Cedar Hill cemetery.
