E NIXON IS TAKEN BY DEATH Well Known Employe of The Seaboard Railway Succumbs Suddenly This Morning At County Street Home J.E. Nixon, aged 65 years, employee of the Atlantic Coast Line railroad for a number of years, died suddenly this morning at 4:30 o'clock at his home on County street. Mr. Nixon is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie Nixon, of Suffolk, three children, one daughter, Mrs. Genue [sic; Genie] Turner, of Suffolk, two sons, J.E. Nixon, Jr., and Charlie Nixon, both of Suffolk, one grandchild, L.R. Turner, of Suffolk, two sisters, Miss Emma Nixon and Mrs. Lucy Mansfield, both of South Norfolk; three brothers, Frank Nixon, of Bosley, N.C., Joe Nixon and John Nixon, both of South Norfolk, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the grave in Cedar Hill cemetery, conducted by the Rev. E.C. Hicks, E.L. Wilkins, O.H. MacClenny, S.C. Johnson, M.J. King, L.J. Gay. Jesse E. NIXON, A.C.L.
