He was a son of the late Joseph M. and Janie Lufsey Nelms, of Isle of Wight and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and its Taylor Progressive Bible Class. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Elsie T. Nelms; two sisters Mrs. R. C. Luke, of Newport News, and Mrs. Trilby Anglin of Baltimore. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. R. E. Brittle, pastor, and the Rev. Dr. I. W. Johnson, of Suffolk. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The body will be taken from the Baker Funeral Home to the residence on Route 3 Thursday at 9 a.m. ****************************************************************************** Rites Tomorrow For Hurley Clifton Nelms Funeral services for Hurley Clifton Nelms, of Nansemond County, who died early yesterday morning at Obici Hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m tomorrow at Bethlehem Church. The body will be taken to the residence at 9 a.m. tomorrow and remain there until 2:15 p.m. at which time it will be taken to the church.
