NELMS DIES AT AGE 71 Funeral Services Set For 3 P. M. Saturday At Hill Home Mrs. E.C. Nelms, age 71, died at the home of her son, Leslie Nelms, 114 Warren Street, after a brief illness. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. P.H. Wilkins of Cypress Chapel and Mrs. Ira Odom, of Suffolk; four sons, Leon E. Nelms, of Ocean View; Leslie, Harris and Ray Nelms, all of Suffolk; one sister, Mrs. George Powell, of Suffolk; one brother, Willie Gwynn, of Nansemond County. The body was taken to the funeral home of I.O. Hill & Company where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Carl B. Craig and Rev. R.E. Brittle.
