MOLLIE SIMONS NELMS

   Suffolk, Nov. 11 - News was received here today of the death in Newport News, 
of Mrs. Clarence Nelms, formerly Miss Mollie Simons, of Nansemond County.

   Mrs. Nelms has a large family connection in Nansemond County among them being 
her sisters, Mrs. Paul J. Powell, of Myrtle; Mrs. Pattie Ashburn and Mrs. Mittie 
Darden, all of Nansemond; one brother, Sam H. Simons, of Nansemond; John Henry 
Powell, a nephew, clerk of Nansemond County Court, and a niece, Miss Margaret 
Powell.

   She is also survived by her husband, Clarence Nelms; a son, Archie Nelms, and 
a daughter, Mrs. Sam Downing.

   Mrs. Paul Powell, Miss Margaret Powell and John H. Powell left today for 
Newport News to attend the funeral.
