Quay Road died Friday in a hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County and an Army and Navy veteran of World War II. He was a former employee of Columbian Peanut Co. in Scotland Neck, N.C. Norfleet was a member of Holland Christian Church and a former member of Holland Ruritan Club and Scotland Neck Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his wife, Sara Rawles Norfleet; and two sisters, Virginia N. Jenkins of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Marjorie N. Taylor of Naperville, Ill. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Holland Christian Church by the Rev. Edwin R. Weidler, Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home has charge. The family will be at the residence. The body will be in the church at noon Monday.
