NORFLEET ROBERT NORFLEET SUFFOLK - Robert Nathaniel "B.B." Norfleet, 78, of the 600 block of Smith St., a retired postal worker, died May 1, 1990, in his home. Mr. Norfleet, a native of Suffolk, had retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 32 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a life member of Main Street United Methodist Church and a member of American Legion Post 57 and Travelers Protective Association Post P. Survivors include his wife, Sallie Brown Norfleet; two daughters, Sarah N. Hamilton of Greensboro and Barbara N. McPhail of Suffolk; and six grandchildren. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. James R. Noland. Friends may join the family at 609 Smith St. Memorial donations may be made to the memorial fund of Main Street United Methodist Church. R.W. Baker & Co. Norfleet, 78, of 609 Smith St., died May 1, 1990, at his residence. A native of Suffolk, he was the son of Lemuel Hunter and Addie Oliver Norfleet. He had retired in 1971 from the Postal Service with 32 years of service. He was a lifelong member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the James L. McLemore Bible Class, the American Legion Post 57, and Travelers' Protective Association Post P. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Sallie Brown Norfleet; two daughters, Sarah N. Hamilton of Greensboro, N.C., and Barbara N. McPhail of Suffolk; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
