The wife of Jack W. Nurney and the daughter of the late James L. Tourtellot and Mrs. Mamie Lee Tourtellot. She was a native of Providence, R.I., a member of the Suffolk Christian Church and past president and member of the Women’s Fellowship, past president and member of the Nansemond River Garden Club. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John P. Harlow of Suffolk and one son, Jack W. Nurney, Jr. of Suffolk and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the graveside in Cedar Hill Cemetery, by Dr. Robert B. Marr. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
