OUTLAND DIES IN COUNTY Popular Young Woman of Whaleyville Section Succumbs; Funeral At Cypress Tomorrow. Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma [sic; Selma] E. Outland, who died at her home in Nansemond county last night at 7:30 o'clock, will be conducted at Cypress Chapel Christian Church tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. Mrs. Outland was 35 years of age at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, John Outland, and three children, J.B., Jr., Estelle, and an infant a few hours old; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Riddick; two brothers, Irving and Vernon Riddick, and two sisters, Mrs. J.R. Reville [sic; Revelle], of Wakefield, and Mrs. P.H. Brantley, of Ivor. The funeral rites will be conducted by the Rev. R.E. Brittle and Dr. I.W. Johnson. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. Pallbearers named by the family are: Active, H.S. Miles, Dr. H.H. Hunter, J.C. Russell, P.O. Parker, G.C. Brothers, E.A. Brothers, J.B. Pruden and J.E. Edwards; honorary, Ernest Jones, Fenton Rawls, L.O.
