Special to The Landmark. Suffolk, Va., November 12. - The funeral of Mrs. Lucy Oliver took place at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the Main Street M.E. Church and was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Thomas. There were many friends and acquaintances present, and Tom Smith Camp, C.V., was represented by a detachment as a mark of respect for the deceased and sympathy for their beloved comrade in his sore trial. The following gentlemen were the pall-bearers for the occasion: Dr. J.A. Kyle, Messrs. Cornelius W. Wright, H.H. Williams, T.J. Saunders, M.C. Wright and F.N. Gray. After the services at the church the remains were conveyed to Cedar Hill Cemetery for interment.
