ALICE VIRGINIA LASSITER PITT 

MRS. ALICE V. PITT BURIED RECENTLY 

  Mrs. Alice Virginia Pitt, 74, died after a brief illness June 21 
at 1:10 a.m. at her home in Chuckatuck.  She was the widow of John 
Wesley Pitt, and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie E. Pinner 
and Mrs. Fletcher Doyle of Chuckatuck; two sons, J. Harvey Pitt and 
T.S. Pitt of Newport News; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 
2 half-brothers, Raymond Lassiter, of Hampton and Edward Lassiter of 
Cleveland, Ohio.
