Suffolk, Va., Oct. 23. - [...] THREE DEATHS IN TEN DAYS. Mr. A.J. Powell, who lives on Chestnut street, to-night lost by death another son, aged 5 years. This is the third child Mr. Powell has lost within about ten days - two sons and a daughter [sic*]. The boy who died to-night attended the funeral of a brother Sunday, and was seemingly well. Jul 1897) & an unnamed son (Apr 1900). None of the three youngest appear in the 1910 Census at 104 Wellons St., Suffolk. A.J. was a sewing machine agent in 1900 & a policeman in 1910.
