Rites Tomorrow For S. H. Powell 

  Funeral services for Samuel Homer Powell, 41, who died last night at 6 
o'clock at a local hospital, will be conducted tomorrow at 3 o'clock at the 
Baker Funeral Home by Dr. I.W. Johnson. 

  Mr. Powell, who was a resident of 313 Mill Street, is survived by his 
father, J. Arthur Powell; a step-mother, Mrs. Lillian Boyce Powell of Suffolk; 
four sisters, Mrs. Lewis Manos of Newport News; Mrs. S.A. Baker, Mrs. E.W. 
Haynes and Mrs. J.R. Johnson of Suffolk; a brother, James R. Powell of 
Suffolk; several nieces and nephews. 

  Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
