BUTLER POWELL Suffolk - Oct. 6 - Mrs. Loulie E. Powelll, wife of J.H. Powell, of Myrtle, Va., died at her home this morning at 4:30 o’clock after a long illness, aged 56 years. She is survived by her husband, and a foster daughter, Mrs. Norman Herrin, of Myrtle; three sisters, Mrs. F.N. Pierce, of Drivers, Mrs. J.E. Rose, of Carrsville, Mrs. B.C. Eley, of near Myrtle; one brother, F.L. Butler, of Myrtle, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Powell was an active member of the Windsor Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Western Branch Church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.S. Cobb. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Loulie E.
