Powell, died at 7:45 o’clock tonight at her home in Myrtle, Nansemond County, after an illness of several weeks. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E.C. Armstrong, of Oradell, N.J.; one son, John Henry Powell, of Nansemond County; five grandchildren, Paula Coe, Peggy, Elmer and Patricia Armstrong, of Oradell, and Eleanor McClung Powell, of Nansemond; one sister, Mrs. Martha J. Ashburn, of Myrtle, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Powell, an active member of the Western Branch Baptist Church, had been for a number of years teacher of the Sally B. Powell Bible Class, which she organized. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Western Branch Baptist Church by Dr. E.T. Clark, of Winchester, and the Rev. W.W.
