Powell Funeral services for William Sidney Powell, of Magnolia, who died suddenly Sunday afternoon while attending memorial services at the Western Branch Baptist Church, were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the I.O. Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. B.A. Riddle, pastor of the Western Branch Church, officiating. Mrs. Claudia Jacobs, accompanied by Mrs. Webb Pinner, Jr., sang "Beyood the Sunset." The pall was of red roses, white carnations and baby's breath. Pallbearers were John Henry Powell, Wesley Philhower, J.D. Johnson, D.T. Gardner, M.O. Spence, Captain A.B. Harper, Garland Vaughan and Oscar Gardner.
