All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Miss Phillips Is Buried Today At Cedar Hill Funeral services for Miss Carolyn Ricks Phillips, member of an old Suffolk family, who died in New York, were held at the grave in Cedar Hill cemetery this morning at 10 o'clock with Dr. John G. Truitt, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church, officiating. Miss Phillips is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alice Seymour, of New York, who accompanied the body to Suffolk, and Mrs. Sallie Phillips Vick, of Kinston, N.C., and two nephews, John T. Phillips, of Albany, Ga., and William G. Phillips, of Danville. Miss Phillips was a daughter of [illegible; microfilm scratched before scanning] and also a sister of the late Dr. John E.
